How Is the Heat Pump Replacement Done?
- Dismantling and preparation
We carefully disassembled, removed, and recycled the old system and then installed the new one in the attic space. - Attic preparation work
Our technicians installed a platform for the furnace, protected a motion sensor light fixture, installed an electrical outlet and added an additional condensate drip tray.
- Heat Pump Installation
We installed a Bryant 226ANA048000 heat pump with efficiencies up to 17 SEER and 13.5 EER. During the winter months, its efficiency is a whopping 9.5 HSPF, and its two-stage operation reduces noise levels by up to 70 dB (that’s amazingly quiet, you can trust us).
- Installation of new evaporator coils
Following building regulations, we installed Bryant FV4CNF0050L0 FAN COILS to ensure the system is operating efficiently.
- Additional Improvements
After that, we installed the Performance Platinum 9.5 GPM, a high-efficiency tankless gas water heater. And for convenient home climate control, we installed a smart Nest thermostat, which allows you to control the temperature right from your phone.
- Documents and inspection
We obtained all the necessary permits and successfully passed the city controller’s inspection. Our technicians also performed HERS testing to confirm the efficiency of the installation (wow, they’re simply the best as always, right?).
