Secretary of Energy Meets FUSE Team in Our New Project
We’re beyond excited to share a sneak peek of one of our latest projects, recently approved by none other than the U.S. Secretary of Energy herself! Currently, we’re working on an electrification project at a historic church in Hayward, and we were honored to have Jennifer Granholm visit us to see our progress and innovations firsthand. Our expert comfort advisors briefed her on the project, sharing our vision for a renewable and sustainable energy future. If you’ve been following us for a while, you know we’re passionate advocates for green energy and cutting-edge technology.
Jennifer Mulhern Granholm is an American politician since 2021 serving as the 16th United States Secretary of Energy. In her current role she pursues the reduction of fossil fuels and said that there is “a goal of getting to net zero carbon dioxide for this country by 2050. And that means that we have got to figure out ways to clean up our fossil fuel industry.” On May 19, 2022, the Department of Energy launched a groundbreaking $3.5 billion initiative under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act to establish four large-scale regional direct air capture hubs, each comprising a network of carbon dioxide removal projects.
The entire FUSE team is immensely grateful for the unique opportunity to connect with Jennifer Granholm. We are looking forward to more project getting attention of people who care about our environment, and on our part we will continue doing what we can for making this world a better place. Here’s to a sustainable future and the exciting advancements that lie ahead!
