Sometimes a house literally begs for an upgrade. That was the case here: the customer told us about strange noises from their AC system. And this was for sure a cry for help. So, that’s why we decided to surprise the house with a new smart heating and cooling system. The brand-new system will run quietly and definitely help save on electricity bills.
What Was Done
Our team quickly came to the conclusion that the old system needed to be replaced and disposed of. Next, our pros installed a Daikin AURORA multi-zone system. Why particularly this solution? The reason is quite simple: the temperature becomes adjustable separately in each room.
The first thing we did was install three wall-mounted units at once (7,000, 9,000, and 18,000 BTU). Then, we had to put outside an outdoor multi-split unit for four zones with a capacity of 36,000 BTU.
Of course, we hid all the communications. Just because comfort without visual appeal is not as impressive, right?
What Was Installed
- Daikin R-32 AURORA Series 7000 BTU (wall-mounted indoor unit);
- Daikin R-32 AURORA Series 9000 BTU;
- Daikin R-32 AURORA Series 18000 BTU;
- Daikin R-32 AURORA Series Outdoor Multi-Split Heat Pump 4 Zones 36000 BTU
Installation of an indoor unit typically costs between $2,000 and $4,000, while a unit + heat pump package ranges from $4,000 to $6,000. Everything depends on the configuration and characteristics of the house.
Now, each room has its own indoor air quality control and electricity is used wisely. And yes, the system is perfect for any season.
