Older homes often harbor a bunch of electrical issues that can come to light (no pun intended) at the worst possible time. A soccer game with your favorite team? The final ep of a soap opera? 1% charge on your phone? Believe it or not: it will be a really bad time. But forewarned is forearmed, so be sure to read up on what problems owners of older homes face. How Is The Upgrade Done?
Our certified team obtained all the necessary permits to install the equipment and then conducted thorough diagnostics that resulted in:
- Upgraded electrical panel itself
Our techs installed a robust electrical panel with NEMA 14-50 outlets, making it possible to add modern devices such as EV chargers. In fact, it is already safe to plug in Level 2 chargers now and easily upgrade to a 60A hardwired connection in the future (if needed, of course). - Installed surge protection
It just helps prevent damage to the appliances and improve electrical stability (and our customer’s level of stress). - Installed weatherhead
Its main function is to provide a safe and secure external connection, which is especially important for older homes.
- Roof-mounted tripods
These tripods with EMT (Electrical Metallic Tubing) were installed in accordance with NEC standards, secured with straps for stability.
