Air Conditioning Inspections
We are providing fulfilling air conditioning inspections so you can find out if it has minor issues, meets local codes and safety standards, or needs maintenance.
Preventive AC Maintenance Plans
Proactive air conditioning maintenance programs are designed to keep your system in peak condition.
Warm air is the air that wasn’t cooled, obviously. But through this statement, it is easy to see that the problem is in the cooling process. Whether it’s a wrong thermostat setting or something more serious with a cooling process, call for a pro. Weak airflow has some solid reasons to appear as well. In most cases it’s a problem with clogged filters and outdated fan motors. Anyway, a professional technician will suggest the most efficient way of air conditioner repair after a careful inspection of your unit.
Strange Noises or Odors
You shouldn’t hear or feel anything strange coming out of your AC. Broken parts stuck in the unit slowly destroy the whole system from the inside. Strange odors are usually created by dirty filters or ductwork. However, it could be a refrigerant leak or burnt wiring as well, and the repair service here is beyond simple cleaning. All of these problems require the immediate attention of a qualified professional, hence a prompt air conditioning repair.
Leaks Around the Indoor Unit
Surely, your AC creates some moisture because of condensation processes, but all wet should be out somewhere around the outdoor unit. This means when you see puddles and leaks around the indoor unit, something went wrong. If these small puddles are transparent and don't smell, that should be water. Usually, you can see it around the indoor unit if the condenser pump doesn’t operate as designed. However, if there is a strong chemical odor and the liquid has color, it’s a refrigerant leak because somewhere there is a hole in the tubes. This liquid is toxic, so it requires immediate attention from a professional to fix the tubes and refill the refrigerant.
Unexplained Increase in Energy Bills
Your AC shouldn’t suddenly raise the energy bill without any changes to its settings. When this happens, there should be an obstacle that blocks airflow, making the whole system run harder to meet settings. In return, the AC consumes more and more power for the same performance, simply because inside, all the parts are taking a double shift. The same happens when some parts don’t work as designed because of malfunctions. A certified technician can easily track the root of the problem and deal with it.
System Short Cycling
Your AC should switch on and off only when you control it. All random actions are not alright. So there are two main problems: the control circuit is faulty, or your AC gets signals of an upcoming overload and enables the protocol of emergency shutdown. The reason for overload is the unit running too hard, exceeding maximum safe settings. As we've mentioned, usually the causes are dirty filters, broken or worn-out parts, low refrigerant level, or even the incorrect size of your system at all. Call for an HVAC technician so a professional can deal with anything causing this problem.
What Santa Clara Homes Need From an AC System
Cooling for Hot Silicon Valley Summers
Summer is a real hot-boiling season. It’s hard to think, do simple household chores, and even rest when you’re almost melting because of heat. The AC system is a solution to make the temperature comfortable. A comprehensive air conditioning service is what you need to ensure your summer will be cool.
Energy Efficiency for High Utility Costs
Paying bills is stressful enough, but it’s even more stressful when they get higher and higher. Today’s technologies made it possible to have both chill and savings. Such an invention as heat pumps made it possible to turn hot air into cool air, so it is also environmentally friendly!
Zoned Cooling for Multi-Story Homes
You might need a cooler temperature on your upper floors to avoid heat build-up, or simply to sleep well in your bedroom. At the same time, lower floors or storage rooms might feel better with a warmer temperature. You can have all of this with a zoned cooling solution. A custom set for each room instead of the whole house is a great opportunity to have perfect air everywhere.
Quiet Systems for Residential Neighborhoods
Constant buzzing can drive you and your neighbors crazy. Modern systems are designed to run quietly, avoiding motor and fan noises. Hence, you’ll always know something is off with the system if you hear it. Old systems tend to run loudly, so homeowners can miss the first signs of issues, taking them for normal noise created by the AC.
Choosing the Right AC System for Your Santa Clara Home
Each home is unique, and we love this. That’s why each AC installation in Santa Clara we complete is also special. To understand what system will suit your needs, there are some factors to take into account:
Size of the house
Number of residents
Regular usage loads
Fuel type
Energy-efficiency
Budget
Some of them you can easily consider on your own, but only a professional can assess which system will suit your household. Our dedicated team will be there for you to find the perfect solution based on all the factors, including your budget.
Why Santa Clara Homeowners Choose Fuse Service
Licensed Company With Trained Team
At Fuse Service we have all licenses to handle AC projects, and our technicians are certified to provide them. We are confident that their experience is crucial for a reliable AC service.
Warranties For All Projects
We are always having your back. You don’t have to worry that if something goes wrong after air conditioning installation, you won’t find someone who will fix the issue.
Transparent Pricing
Hidden fees aren’t our style. With Fuse Service you know what you pay for when you schedule an AC project. Before any work starts, we give you a detailed price, and it’s final.

Sharing a positive review. I recently solicited quotes from multiple firms and ended up going with Fuse. Key factors where they stood out were:
a) Product Knowledge: The company representatives (Cuinn and Teodor) did a great job suggesting HVAC options that could meet our needs and helped guide us through the design and selection process. I tend to do a lot of research and ask lots of questions before making large home improvement investments. In each case, they were able to provide me the additional information I needed to make a good decision.
b) Communication: This is another area where Fuse excelled. Whenever I emailed, called or texted, they were VERY quick to respond. Often at times outside normal business hours. This allowed the process to move quickly and efficiently.
c) Professionalism: Cuinn and Teodor exhibited a great blend of both professionalism but also friendly interaction. In so doing they represented themselves and the company well.
d) Competitive Pricing: Their quote was very competitive, and a good value given the size, quality and warranty associated with the system we ended up selecting.
Bottom line, I just wanted to share what a positive experience I had working with Fuse. I encourage others to give them a try.

Very pleased with Fuse! Excellent customer service. Cuinn came to give me an estimate on replacing my HVAC unit. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and great to work with. During his visit, he took the time to help me with my fireplace that had completely stopped working. I was so grateful! The estimate for replacing my HVAC unit came back literally within the hour after he left. The best part was that his estimate was considerably less than other companies. We will definitely be working with Fuse
I highly recommend Fuse! Ask for Cuin

This is a review of HVAC services provided by Fuse Services.
I am a retired HVAC (and General) Contractor and before I retired I always used a competent sub-contractor when I could not perform a trade to my satisfaction. I installed my existing HVAC system myself over twenty years ago, and it was still operating satisfactorily. However, I try to replace major appliances before they fail because it is far less disruptive (and often less expensive) to do so. But now I'm in my mid-seventies and not as agile in an attic as I used to be.
As part of my due diligence I of course researched Fuse Service reviews on Google and Yelp, and made my selection based primarily on that information. In my opinion, and my experience, project cost is secondary to value; meaning personnel timeliness, craftsmanship, vendor dependability and product reliability are all an important part of the purchase decision making process. (Cheap is rarely inexpensive, and in the end often costs more. You don't always get what you pay for, but you never get what you don't pay for.) With respect to cost, while Fuse was certainly not the cheapest of the multiple bids I obtained, they were also not the most expensive, so I decided to go with them.
The Fuse Service project evaluation process was professional, thorough and responsive. They were readily able to incorporate several unique system design requests that I wanted (and which would normally not come up in a standard home bid).
The installation process was profoundly EXCELLENT! The Lead Installer Aiden and his associate were fantastic workers. They were energetic, incredibly hardworking, thoughtful, creative, exhibited superior customer service and simply professional to the highest degree imaginable. I have very high standards when it comes to my work and I was pleasantly surprised beyond my expectations by their performance. (If I were still in business I would hire them in an instant!) I was entirely pleased with the outcome.
In closing, as a retired HVAC Contractor, I recommend Fuse Service WITHOUT RESERVATION!

Vladimir came to fix a small gas leak in a heater line that was improperly sealed by a novice contractor. Probably one of the most pleasant technicians I've encountered in my 30 years of working with service techs. Super friendly, explained everything clearly when I asked questions and gave possible options. Completed the job quickly and for a reasonable price. Second time I've called Fuse and will continue to do so in the future.

I highly recommend Fuse for heat pumps and electrical work. We had a heat pump installed by fuse earlier this year and they did a great job. Most recently we had Fuse replace our kitchen fluorescent canned lights with LED lights and we also had a whole house fan installed. Zorik was the electrician who did the last 2 jobs and he did really good work. He was friendly, polite, on time, efficient and cleaned up the area well. The work and equipment installed is high quality and reasonably priced.

Book AC Repair or Installation in Santa Clara Today
Residential AC repair in Santa Clara, like any other AC service, is where Fuse Service comes in to provide it on the highest level. If you have any cooled air problems or needs, we have a suitable solution. Contact us today to schedule an appointment and discover why we are the trusted choice for an air conditioning service in Santa Clara and beyond.
It fully depends on the service: emergency AC repair may be scheduled the same or the next day, while AC installation may take longer, especially during high season.
The problem itself. When you reach us with minor repairs like refrigerant refills or filter changes, we’ll charge a lower price. On the contrary, fixing a motor or a condenser pump will be more expensive not only because of labor but also because of part price.
First of all, check if the repair cost is bigger than half of the unit price. Also, older systems, like 12+ years, also usually require an air conditioning replacement instead of a repair.
AC maintenance is crucial for optimal operation of your system, so we will check every bit of it. During maintenance service, we replace filters, refill refrigerant, and repair minor issues and problems so they don’t escalate into a bigger problem during higher loads.
Yes, we do! Ductless mini-split systems, multi-zone systems, heat pumps, and other types of ACs are in our list, so feel free to get any.
On average, AC works smoothly for around 12 years. However, gas or oil systems require a replacement after 10 years of operating, while heat pumps can serve you for over 20 years.
