Fuse Service handles commercial HVAC installation in San Jose and the South Bay. We work on pretty much everything: from office buildings to retail storefronts and local restaurants. Whether you need a standard rooftop package unit, a split system, or a modern ductless setup, we’ll get it done.
We’ve been at this for almost a decade now. Our company is fully licensed and insured, and every single tech on our team is certified. So, the choice of the contractor is exactly what defines whether your new system runs smoothly for a decade or dies in year three.
Commercial HVAC Installation Planned Around Your Building
Two commercial properties the same size might need two completely different systems. Ceiling height, occupancy, how much glass is on the south wall — it all changes the load calculation. So we measure first and quote second.
Talk to a commercial HVAC installation contractor in San Jose before signing anything. Ask them to walk you through the numbers and keep calling around if you don’t get an answer why they picked one unit over another.
Scheduling gets built around the building, too. A restaurant needs a different install window than a law office. We ask about your hours before we ask about your budget.
When a Commercial HVAC Replacement Makes More Sense Than Another Repair
Fixing an old unit always looks cheaper on paper. Add up a year of service calls and it usually isn’t. A commercial HVAC replacement pays for itself once the emergency calls stop.
Repeated Breakdowns
Three or more service visits in a year isn’t bad luck, it’s actually a system telling you it’s done.
Rising Energy Costs
A bill that keeps creeping up with no change in usage almost always traces back to a compressor working overtime.
Uneven Heating or Cooling
Hot corner, cold corner…. That pattern usually means the system was undersized from day one, or the zoning was never set up right.
Old Rooftop or Package Units
Most commercial equipment is built for 15 to 20 years. Past that, breakdowns get closer together and efficiency drops fast.
Parts That Are Hard to Source
Some manufacturers stop making parts for older models within a decade. A three-week wait on a discontinued component can cost more than a new unit.
Comfort Complaints From Staff, Tenants or Customers
If people are still complaining after a repair, that’s the system’s way of telling you what it needs.
Commercial HVAC Systems We Install
Fuse Service handles commercial HVAC system installation for buildings of every size around San Jose. We recommend equipment based on your building, not on whatever happens to be “trendy” that week.
Rooftop Package Units
This type is still the standard for retail and restaurant spaces because roof access makes future service easy.
Split Systems and Heat Pumps
It’s often a better fit for smaller commercial spaces or buildings where a rooftop unit isn't an option.
Ductless and Multi-Zone Systems
Tenants control their own space instead of fighting over one thermostat for the whole floor thanks to these systems.
VRF / VRV Systems, If Offered
It’s good for larger properties that need to heat one zone and cool another at the same time.
Air Handlers, Ductwork and Ventilation
Ductwork sized and sealed so the air actually gets where it's supposed to go, up to code.
Thermostats, Sensors and Controls
Controls that flag a problem while it's small, before it turns into an after-hours emergency call.

HVAC Installation for Different Commercial Facilities
A warehouse in North San Jose and a dental office downtown have almost nothing in common when it comes to HVAC needs. We’ve worked on most property types the city has, and each one gets sized on its own.
Office Buildings and Professional Spaces
Steady comfort through the workday, sized for how occupancy shifts from morning to afternoon.
Restaurants and Hospitality Businesses
Kitchens throw off heat the dining room never feels. Load calculations have to account for both spaces separately.
Retail Stores and Customer-Facing Spaces
Constant door traffic changes the load more than most owners expect.
Schools and Light-Commercial Buildings
Equipment built to run a full school year without needing constant attention.
Warehouses and Larger Open Areas
Ceiling height and layout drive the airflow plan more than raw square footage does.
Multifamily and Mixed-Use Properties
Sometimes one shared system covers the whole building, sometimes each unit gets its own. It depends on how the property was originally built.
A Clear Installation Process for Commercial Buildings
There are just five steps and nothing is hidden between them.
Site Assessment and Load Calculation
A technician measures the space and runs the numbers before recommending anything.
Equipment Selection and Proposal
You get a written proposal with equipment options, pricing, and a timeline.
Permitting and Scheduling
We pull permits and schedule around your building’s hours if it’s possible.
Installation and System Startup
The crew installs the unit, tests it, and confirms it’s running to spec before leaving.
Final Walkthrough and Documentation
A walkthrough of the new system, warranty paperwork, and a maintenance plan to take with you.
Why San Jose Businesses Call Fuse Service for HVAC Installation
Two things keep property owners and facility managers coming back: the job gets done right the first time, and it finishes on the day we said it would.
Professional Technicians
Every technician has expertise on the specific brands we install.
Straightforward Pricing
You see the quote before we start work. Nothing extra shows up on the final bill.
Minimal Disruption to Your Business
Jobs are scheduled around your operating hours if possible, and the site is left clean when the crew leaves.
A lot of clients found us as their commercial HVAC installation contractor in San Jose after another company’s quote didn’t hold up, or the job ran three weeks past the promised date. We try to make sure that’s not our story.

Sharing a positive review. I recently solicited quotes from multiple firms and ended up going with Fuse. Key factors where they stood out were:
a) Product Knowledge: The company representatives (Cuinn and Teodor) did a great job suggesting HVAC options that could meet our needs and helped guide us through the design and selection process. I tend to do a lot of research and ask lots of questions before making large home improvement investments. In each case, they were able to provide me the additional information I needed to make a good decision.
b) Communication: This is another area where Fuse excelled. Whenever I emailed, called or texted, they were VERY quick to respond. Often at times outside normal business hours. This allowed the process to move quickly and efficiently.
c) Professionalism: Cuinn and Teodor exhibited a great blend of both professionalism but also friendly interaction. In so doing they represented themselves and the company well.
d) Competitive Pricing: Their quote was very competitive, and a good value given the size, quality and warranty associated with the system we ended up selecting.
Bottom line, I just wanted to share what a positive experience I had working with Fuse. I encourage others to give them a try.

Very pleased with Fuse! Excellent customer service. Cuinn came to give me an estimate on replacing my HVAC unit. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and great to work with. During his visit, he took the time to help me with my fireplace that had completely stopped working. I was so grateful! The estimate for replacing my HVAC unit came back literally within the hour after he left. The best part was that his estimate was considerably less than other companies. We will definitely be working with Fuse
I highly recommend Fuse! Ask for Cuin

My heating unit was not working. Called FUSE in the morning and they were able to schedule an appointment in the afternoon. April the scheduler is kind and helpful. Technician Elijah is very efficient, knowledgeable and professional. He was able to check my heating unit and fixed the NEST thermostat wiring problems. In addition he also checked my AC unit. Great work Elijah and thanks!

This is a review of HVAC services provided by Fuse Services.
I am a retired HVAC (and General) Contractor and before I retired I always used a competent sub-contractor when I could not perform a trade to my satisfaction. I installed my existing HVAC system myself over twenty years ago, and it was still operating satisfactorily. However, I try to replace major appliances before they fail because it is far less disruptive (and often less expensive) to do so. But now I'm in my mid-seventies and not as agile in an attic as I used to be.
As part of my due diligence I of course researched Fuse Service reviews on Google and Yelp, and made my selection based primarily on that information. In my opinion, and my experience, project cost is secondary to value; meaning personnel timeliness, craftsmanship, vendor dependability and product reliability are all an important part of the purchase decision making process. (Cheap is rarely inexpensive, and in the end often costs more. You don't always get what you pay for, but you never get what you don't pay for.) With respect to cost, while Fuse was certainly not the cheapest of the multiple bids I obtained, they were also not the most expensive, so I decided to go with them.
The Fuse Service project evaluation process was professional, thorough and responsive. They were readily able to incorporate several unique system design requests that I wanted (and which would normally not come up in a standard home bid).
The installation process was profoundly EXCELLENT! The Lead Installer Aiden and his associate were fantastic workers. They were energetic, incredibly hardworking, thoughtful, creative, exhibited superior customer service and simply professional to the highest degree imaginable. I have very high standards when it comes to my work and I was pleasantly surprised beyond my expectations by their performance. (If I were still in business I would hire them in an instant!) I was entirely pleased with the outcome.
In closing, as a retired HVAC Contractor, I recommend Fuse Service WITHOUT RESERVATION!

Max was very courteous and professional. The work was completed promptly and with high quality. He made sure I was satisfied with the installation and put our front porch (Halloween decorations) back together the way he found it. I'd highly recommend Max and Fuse HVAC for your smarthome installation needs

Vladimir came to fix a small gas leak in a heater line that was improperly sealed by a novice contractor. Probably one of the most pleasant technicians I've encountered in my 30 years of working with service techs. Super friendly, explained everything clearly when I asked questions and gave possible options. Completed the job quickly and for a reasonable price. Second time I've called Fuse and will continue to do so in the future.

I highly recommend Fuse for heat pumps and electrical work. We had a heat pump installed by fuse earlier this year and they did a great job. Most recently we had Fuse replace our kitchen fluorescent canned lights with LED lights and we also had a whole house fan installed. Zorik was the electrician who did the last 2 jobs and he did really good work. He was friendly, polite, on time, efficient and cleaned up the area well. The work and equipment installed is high quality and reasonably priced.

Worked on my wall heater and fixed the issues. Great value and fast service. Look forward to working with them again.
Commercial Systems and Brands We Install
We work with major commercial manufacturers, including Trane, Carrier, Daikin, Lennox, and Mitsubishi Electric. Brand choice comes down to budget, availability, and what your existing infrastructure can handle.
Rebates, Tax Credits and Warranty Options for Commercial HVAC Installation
A good share of commercial HVAC installation projects qualify for utility rebates or federal tax credits tied to energy efficiency, and it’s worth checking before assuming a higher-efficiency unit is out of reach. Manufacturer warranties usually run 10 to 12 years on parts, and our own labor warranty covers the installation itself. We’ll go through what applies to your project before you sign anything.
Fuse Service offers commercial HVAC installation services and commercial heating and cooling installation across San Jose, with licensed technicians and pricing that doesn’t shift after the fact. New system, straight replacement, or you’re still deciding — we’ll walk the property and give you real numbers.
Commercial HVAC installation in San Jose through Fuse Service comes down to one thing: get it right the first time, and keep your business’ doors open while we work.
Rooftop package units, split systems, ductless multi-zone setups, and VRF/VRV systems if your property fits the bill. We also handle all the ductwork and smart controls that link them together.
You need a proper load calculation before commercial HVAC replacement. That means a technician actually has to walk your property and measure things.
If we’re just swapping out a single rooftop unit, it usually takes one to three days. Larger projects with custom ductwork or complex zoning take longer. The difference with us is we give you a firm, realistic timeline upfront — no moving goalposts once we start.
Absolutely. We’ll do our best to schedule the work at a time that minimizes disruption to your business.
The size of the system, the brand you go with, whether we can reuse your current ductwork, how easy it is to access your roof, and local city permit fees.
Almost always. But you don’t have to worry about it because we handle the entire city permitting process.
Your unit is over 15 years old? Or are you on a first-name basis with your repair technician? Then it sounds like replacement makes the most financial sense. We can look at your actual repair history and run the math with you.
Just your building’s rough square footage, the age of your current system (if you know it), and a quick list of any hot or cold spots you’ve been dealing with.
