A failed HVAC system shuts down more than comfort — it can shut down business. Fuse Service handles commercial HVAC in San Jose for offices, restaurants, retail stores, warehouses, and multifamily buildings that need a repair done correctly, not just quickly patched.
Our commercial HVAC company is licensed and certified. Fuse Service has worked on Silicon Valley commercial buildings for years, and most of our new customers come from referrals, not ads.
Repairs, maintenance, installs, retrofits — our commercial HVAC services cover all of it under one team. You won’t need a separate contractor for each stage of a system’s life.
Commercial HVAC Repair
Weak airflow, strange noises, a unit that won’t start at all — these are the calls we get most. Our technicians are always ready to handle common failures related to rooftop, split, and packaged systems, so most repairs are finished in one visit.
Commercial HVAC Maintenance
Skipped maintenance is how a $200 fix turns into a $4,000 one. We check coils, refrigerant charge, and controls on a schedule matched to how hard your building runs its system.
Commercial HVAC Installation and Replacement
Keeping an old unit running isn’t free — it shows up on the power bill every month. When we replace a system, we size it to the building’s actual load, not a generic chart.
HVAC Retrofits for Commercial Properties
Not every aging system needs to go. HVAC retrofits for commercial properties update ductwork, controls, or specific components, which often solves the efficiency problem at a fraction of replacement cost.
Commercial HVAC Systems We Service in San Jose
A five-unit office suite and a 40,000-square-foot warehouse don’t run the same equipment. Fuse Service techs work across the range, including HVAC for light-commercial buildings where smaller rooftop units and split systems are more common.
Rooftop Units
RTUs sit on nearly every retail center and office park roof in the South Bay. We repair, tune, and replace them across every major brand.
Commercial Boilers
Get the calibration wrong on a boiler and you're not just risking comfort — you're risking safety. Our team inspects, repairs, and replaces both steam and hot water systems.
Commercial Water Heaters
A restaurant that loses hot water loses its momentum. We work on tank and tankless commercial units, regardless of capacity.
Commercial Garage Heaters
Warehouses need heat that reaches a lot of square footage without spiking the utility bill. We install and service garage heaters built for that kind of open space.
Heat Pumps, Ductwork and Controls
More buildings are switching to heat pumps to cut energy costs, but a heat pump only performs as well as the ducts feeding it. We look at the unit and the duct system together — fixing one without the other rarely solves the problem.
HVAC Solutions Customized for Your Industry
A kitchen and a law office stress an HVAC system in completely different ways. Fuse Service tailors service plans to how each property type actually operates, rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all template.
Restaurants & Hospitality
Kitchen heat and constant cooler cycling wear restaurant systems down fast. We work around service hours whenever possible, rather than during them.
Office Buildings
Temperature swings during a workday cost productivity, not just comfort. Our office HVAC service covers everything from a single suite to a full multi-tenant building.
Manufacturing & Warehouses
High ceilings, big open floors, and equipment throwing off heat change the math on warehouse HVAC. We design around the space you actually have, not a standard layout.
Retail Stores
Shoppers notice a bad temperature within a few minutes, and it affects how long they stay. We keep retail systems calibrated so that’s never an issue.
Schedule a Free Estimate of Your Commercial HVAC Project
The goal is simple: fix it right, with as little disruption to your day as possible.
Step 1: Call or Book Online
Reach us by phone or online. We schedule based on how urgent the issue is.
Step 2: On-Site Diagnostic
Our technician inspects the system and pins down the actual cause before starting any work.
Step 3: Upfront Pricing
You get a number before anything happens, and it doesn’t move once we’re underway unless the scope of the job changes.
Step 4: Repair or Installation
Parts and equipment are commercial-grade, rated for the load your system actually carries.
Step 5: Follow-Up
We check that the fix is holding, and if a maintenance plan makes sense for your building, we’ll bring it up then.
Why San Jose Businesses Call Fuse Service
Property managers need a commercial HVAC contractor who answers the phone and shows up when scheduled — that’s a lower bar than it should be, but it’s not always met.
Licensed, Insured and Certified
Every technician we send is a true professional, which protects your building and your budget.
Fast Response Times
Downtime costs money, so calls about commercial HVAC in San Jose get priority in dispatch if possible.
Transparent, Fair Pricing
The quote before any commercial HVAC services is the number on the invoice. Nothing gets added afterward.
Real Experience Across Property Types
Retail, restaurant, office, warehouse, multifamily, mixed-use building — we’ve worked on most of what’s built in the South Bay.

Quick easy and painless. Not the cheapest, but they do quality work. I had my bathroom drain cleaned out and pipes snaked.

We're just about to have our heat pump and new water heater installed, so I can't speak to that experience yet, but I had to say how helpful their sales rep, Jeff, was with all of my questions to get settled into a plan. I'm one of those people who like to know what's going on line by line, and his patience and knowledge was very appreciated!

I had a need to replace our 50G gas water heater. Received several quotes from various contractors. Fuse was the most cost-effective proposal. Quote included new Bradford White heater, new expansion tank (did not have one before), new gas supply line to the heater, new drain pan, new Corro-Protec powered anode to prevent corrosion, and city permit. Installation was smooth. Workmanship excellent. Passed inspection with no issues.

Henry and Alex did a fantastic job installing our new heat pump system! They worked hard over two days to get everything set up perfectly. They were punctual, professional, respectful of our home, and extremely knowledgeable. The new system is running great. Huge thanks to Henry and Alex for their hard work--I definitely recommend this team for your HVAC needs!

Update: In what I am pretty convinced was a total coincidence, shortly after the heat pump was installed our gas hot water heater stopped working. I couldn't find anything that the installer would have done to cause it since the symptom was that the gas flame would not stay on. I called Fuse to see what they had to say and within a hour two technicians came out to take a look. After a couple hours of troubleshooting they thought it might be the control board. Of note they didn't charge us for their time. The gas HWH was to be replaced by Fuse with a heat pump based HWH so it seemed silly to invest much effort. Unfortunately there wasn't one of their electricians available for a couple of weeks to install the needed sub-panel. On a follow up call to Fuse, I reminded them that we also have an EV charger in the garage that they might be able to temporarily "borrow" the circuit. The next day the team of Ronnie and Alex came out and installed the new HWH using the EV charger's circuit (having to use a public charger was a small price to pay to having hot water). Once again, a professional job with great attention to detail. Last week Zorik the electrician arrived as scheduled to complete the installation. He worked with me on where I would prefer the sub-panel be installed. Within a few hours, our EV charger was back in business. I appreciated that Zorik took the time to review what breakers were moved so that I could update my records. I was confident that the job (and the others) were all were properly compliant with the building codes. Worth noting, the technician from an independent company came out to do the duct work testing (which passed). As he was leaving the subject of Fuse came up. His comment was that they are the best in the Bay Area.

Sergei did an excellent job installing our RO system under the sink and he fixed a leak from plumbing under our home. He is an excellent plumber.
Rebates, Tax Credits and Warranty Options for Commercial HVAC Projects
Upgrading commercial heating and cooling equipment often qualifies for state or federal rebates. On some projects, that offsets a real chunk of the installation cost.
Our San Jose commercial HVAC top pros check which rebates and credits apply before installation starts, and go over manufacturer warranty terms so there’s nothing to untangle later.
Fuse Service handles commercial heating and cooling work across San Jose, from a single repair call to a full retrofit on a commercial property. As a San Jose commercial HVAC provider based in the area, we know what these buildings and this climate actually require.
Rooftop units, boilers, water heaters, garage heaters, heat pumps, plus the ductwork and controls tying them together.
As soon as something’s off — weak airflow, noise, temperature swings. Waiting rarely makes the repair cheaper.
Mainly the system type, its age, what parts it needs, and how far along the problem already is. You’ll get pricing before we start.
Yes — after-hours and weekend visits are available if possible so we’re not shutting your operation down mid-day.
Most installs and major replacements do, under city building code. We, as a commercial HVAC contractor in San Jose, handle that paperwork as part of the job.
Twice a year covers most buildings. Restaurants and warehouses running heavier loads usually do better on a quarterly schedule.
Yes — updating controls, ductwork, or components on an existing system, without the cost of a full replacement.
