A faucet is the only fixture in your kitchen or bathroom that you touch a hundred times a day. When it leaks or just looks like it came from the last century, it’s far more annoying than it seems at first glance. The Fuse Service team performs faucet installation in San Jose quickly and without any surprises — like leaks — a week after the technician’s visit.
Fuse Service has been serving San Jose and the entire Bay Area for about 10 years. Our company is licensed by the State of California, fully insured, and regularly certified by leading plumbing fixture manufacturers. This means that installing a faucet in your home isn’t an experiment — it’s routine work for people who do it every day.
Faucet Installation Options for San Jose Properties
Fuse Service handles every kind of faucet job — from a straightforward kitchen faucet swap to touch-controlled systems in busy commercial kitchens. Here’s a rundown of what we install most often.
Kitchen Faucet Installation
Kitchen faucet installation tops our call list for a simple reason: kitchen faucets get used far more than bathroom ones, so they wear out faster. First, we match a model to your sink’s setup — number of holes, deck space, the works. Once the new faucet is in, we run the water and check pressure at the outlet before calling it done.
Bathroom Faucet Installation
Bathroom faucet installation leaves almost no room for error. Hole spacing, spout height, sink compatibility — all of it has to line up within a millimeter. Our plumber measures everything on site and gets the new faucet in without touching your countertop.
Touchless and Smart Faucet Installation
Touchless and smart faucets are becoming standard in new homes in San Jose. Touchless faucet installation includes connecting the faucet to a power source or battery pack, setting up the motion sensor, and calibrating the sensitivity. And it’s all done in a single visit.
Wall-Mounted Faucet Installation
Wall-mounted faucets do look striking, no argument there. But since they sit inside the wall instead of on the countertop, getting one in means opening up access to the concealed plumbing behind it. Our team works with these setups regularly and knows exactly how to keep leaks from developing inside the wall.
Commercial Faucet Installation
Are you a business owner? Commercial faucet installation is a whole different level of wear and tear: faucets in cafes, offices, and medical facilities are used hundreds of times a day. We select commercial models with reinforced cartridges and install them to meet the standards for commercial real estate.

When a New Faucet Makes More Sense Than Another Repair
Some faucets just aren’t worth fixing again. A handle that leaks on its own, limescale eating away at the inside of the fixture, a model that’s been discontinued for years — any of these is a sign that repair is throwing money at a problem that won’t go away. Replacing it outright usually costs less than another service call six months down the road.
There’s also a practical side: older faucets often use more water than modern models with aerators. Faucet replacement in San Jose pays off not only in terms of convenience but also in your water bill over the next year or two.
Choose the Faucet Around the Sink and Daily Use
Looks are the last thing that should decide this. A faucet has to match your sink, fit how you actually use it day to day, and work with the rest of your home’s plumbing.
Sink Type and Number of Faucet Holes
A single-lever faucet, a two-valve system, or a built-in soap dispenser — the number of holes in the countertop determines which models will fit without any modifications.
Material and Finish
Stainless steel outlasts almost everything else. Chrome-plated brass is the classic pick that never really goes out of style. And if you have children, matte nickel is a smarter choice: fingerprints simply don't show up on it, unlike on shinier surfaces.
Faucet Load
A kitchen where cooking is a regular activity requires a faucet with a high spout and a pull-out spray. In the bathroom, where the faucet is turned on for just a couple of seconds, the smoothness of the lever is more important than water pressure.
Our specialist will help you choose a model right on the spot, taking into account your sink, your budget, and how you actually use the faucet.
The Faucet Installation Process
The process of faucet installation in San Jose takes one to three hours and consists of four steps.
Step 1 — Inspection and Model Selection
The technician looks over your current setup, checks that the new faucet will work with your sink and supply line, and flags a better option if the one you had in mind won’t fit.
Step 2 — Removing the Old Faucet
Water gets shut off first. Then the old faucet comes out, and the tech checks the supply lines and shut-off valves under the sink while everything’s exposed.
Step 3 — Installation and Connection
Then, the new faucet is mounted on the countertop, the supply lines are connected, and each connection is checked for leaks.
Step 4 — Checking for Leaks
Finally, our experts turn the water on at full pressure, and then the technician checks all connection points for leaks and provides a written warranty for the work performed.
San Jose Permits for Faucet and Plumbing Fixture Work
A basic faucet swap on an existing sink usually doesn’t need a permit from the City of San Jose. That changes if the job involves reworking the plumbing layout, moving the water connection, or a larger bathroom or kitchen renovation — in those cases, check with the city first.
Why San Jose Customers Choose Fuse Service
Customers keep coming back to Fuse Service not just because of attractive terms, but because of the results: a faucet is installed once and lasts for years.
Experience and License
With almost 10 years of experience in the Bay Area, we are a licensed and insured contractor. Each of our techs who respond to your call has performed this type of installation dozens of times.
Transparent Pricing
You’ll know the cost before work begins. There are no surprise add-ons after we confirmed the final price or hidden charges on the bill.
Labor Warranty
All work performed comes with a written warranty. Just stay assured that everything we do is covered and you don’t have to worry at all.

We're just about to have our heat pump and new water heater installed, so I can't speak to that experience yet, but I had to say how helpful their sales rep, Jeff, was with all of my questions to get settled into a plan. I'm one of those people who like to know what's going on line by line, and his patience and knowledge was very appreciated!

I had a need to replace our 50G gas water heater. Received several quotes from various contractors. Fuse was the most cost-effective proposal. Quote included new Bradford White heater, new expansion tank (did not have one before), new gas supply line to the heater, new drain pan, new Corro-Protec powered anode to prevent corrosion, and city permit. Installation was smooth. Workmanship excellent. Passed inspection with no issues.

They were punctual, professional, respectful of our home, and extremely knowledgeable. The new system is running great. Huge thanks to Henry and Alex for their hard work--I definitely recommend this team for your HVAC needs!

Update: In what I am pretty convinced was a total coincidence, shortly after the heat pump was installed our gas hot water heater stopped working. I couldn't find anything that the installer would have done to cause it since the symptom was that the gas flame would not stay on. I called Fuse to see what they had to say and within a hour two technicians came out to take a look. After a couple hours of troubleshooting they thought it might be the control board. Of note they didn't charge us for their time. The gas HWH was to be replaced by Fuse with a heat pump based HWH so it seemed silly to invest much effort. Unfortunately there wasn't one of their electricians available for a couple of weeks to install the needed sub-panel. On a follow up call to Fuse, I reminded them that we also have an EV charger in the garage that they might be able to temporarily "borrow" the circuit. The next day the team of Ronnie and Alex came out and installed the new HWH using the EV charger's circuit (having to use a public charger was a small price to pay to having hot water). Once again, a professional job with great attention to detail. Last week Zorik the electrician arrived as scheduled to complete the installation. He worked with me on where I would prefer the sub-panel be installed. Within a few hours, our EV charger was back in business. I appreciated that Zorik took the time to review what breakers were moved so that I could update my records. I was confident that the job (and the others) were all were properly compliant with the building codes. Worth noting, the technician from an independent company came out to do the duct work testing (which passed). As he was leaving the subject of Fuse came up. His comment was that they are the best in the Bay Area.

Sergei did an excellent job installing our RO system under the sink and he fixed a leak from plumbing under our home. He is an excellent plumber.
A Real San Jose Faucet Replacement
San Jose residents contact Fuse Service almost every day to complain about a kitchen faucet that constantly leaks — especially when a previous repair didn’t fix the problem. Instead of just another quick fix, our experts often recommend replacing the faucet entirely with a new one — and we offer great options. For example, a faucet with a pull-out spout and a ceramic cartridge.
We also perform other plumbing services, ranging from water heater replacements to drain cleaning. Here are just a few examples:
Ready to get this off your plate? Submit a request for a faucet replacement in San Jose online or give us a call. A technician will show up when it works for you, take a look at the job in person, and give you a firm price before any work starts.
Price comes down to the faucet type, how complicated the install is, and what shape your existing plumbing is in. You’ll get an exact number after we’ve seen the job — before anyone touches a wrench.
Most jobs run one to three hours. That covers pulling the old faucet, putting in the new one, and testing for leaks afterward.
Sure! Just make sure the model works with your sink and supply line — our techs will confirm that before starting.
It comes down to hole count and spacing on your countertop. A faucet installer can measure that for you before the job or during a free consultation.
If water’s leaking from under the handle and not just the spout, or the faucet’s been off the market for years, replacing it tends to save more money in the long run than another repair.
Not for a straight swap on an existing sink. You’d only need one if the job involves a layout change or a bigger renovation.
All faucet installation work is covered by a written warranty from Fuse Service. You can discuss the details with the technician when signing the contract.
